At Mustard Seed Global, our mission is clear: to make a profound and lasting impact in needy communities, with a primary focus on Papua New Guinea (PNG). Despite the nation’s abundant resources and economic growth, it grapples with critical challenges such as illiteracy, law and order issues, high school dropout rates, corruption, and an under-resourced healthcare system.
Our flagship program, “Bush Angels,” stands as a beacon of hope. We believe that every individual, regardless of their location, deserves access to essential healthcare. Since 2016, our dedicated mobile medical teams, equipped with purpose-designed vehicles and boats, have been traversing rugged terrains to provide life-saving health services. Our paramount emphasis is on early cancer diagnosis, as late detection is a prevalent issue in PNG due to limited awareness and diagnostic services. Mustard Seed Global’s paramedic units are experts in early cancer diagnosis, armed with state-of-the-art tools and rigorous training to identify and treat cancers in their initial stages.
In addition, we operate a Social Enterprise Benevolence Hub in partnership with the East New Britain Provincial Government, located in Kokopo, East New Britain. This hub comprises a bakery, coffeehouse, and express supermarket, not only offering high-quality products but also serving as venues for corporate meetings and training sessions for our paramedic teams. Empowering these teams bolsters their capacity to serve the community effectively.
